Listen to ‘Old Wow+‘ in full here: https://slee.lnk.to/OldWowplus

Continuing the theme within that album of respect, adoration and protection of nature through our songful heritage here are 6 songs that are charged with a sense of wonderment and connection to the land and what better place to have sung them but in Stonehenge and in a blackthorn bush in Sussex under a Nightingale! What more sacred a studio can you ask for!

Thank you to all who contributed to these. The record could not have been made without these incredible musicians who deserve the highest praise and thanks: Bernard Butler who produced it, and my wonderful band and sires in the creative journey James Keay, Josh Green and Misha Mullov-Abbado. But also to these incredible supporting musicians all lending their voices and instruments… a line-up to be very proud of: Elizabeth Fraser, Matthew Barley, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, Cosmo Sheldrake, Dizraeli, Mara Carlisle, Alice Zawadzki, Adrian Freedman, Anthony Albrecht, Letty Stott, Yusef Narcin, Saul Eisenberg and Ben Edwards.

Thanks also to Mat Martin for album design! Thank you to Stonehenge and English Heritage for ‘permission’ and trust to bring song into your site!

Love to you all and thanks
xx Sam
