Listen to ‘Old Wow‘ in full here: https://slee.lnk.to/OldWow

We will all remember January 31st 2020 for many things but for me it’s not about politics today, it’s about music and music that speaks about something far more urgent and vital; Nature and our relationship to it. So with great excitement, trepidation and relief I’d like to give over to you all my new album Old Wow. It’s out, it’s here and, it is now yours. I can’t thank everyone enough who was involved in making this album what it is – a loving tribute to the natural world.

The record could not have been made without these incredible musicians who deserve the highest praise and thanks: Bernard Butler who produced it, and my wonderful band and sires in the creative journey James Keay, Josh Green and Misha Mullov-Abbado. But also to these incredible supporting musicians all lending their voices and instruments… a line-up to be very proud of: Elizabeth Fraser, Matthew Barley, Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, Cosmo Sheldrake, Dizraeli, Mara Carlisle, Alice Zawadzki, Adrian Freedman, Anthony Albrecht, Letty Stott, Yusef Narcin, Saul Eisenberg and Ben Edwards.

It’s an album that has many stories in its making and I hope that many more stories will come from its being heard. Thank you for your support and please do spread this music onwards. But most importantly please do listen.

Here are some really special reviews of the record:
“Sam Lee’s eco-folk music is heartfelt and timely musically it is beautiful” – 4* Times
“Reveals his desire to project his love of folk further, the effect is exquisite” – 4* Guardian

“It’s a bloody brilliant album…Can’t fill my ears fast enough with it” – Robert Macfarlane

Love to you all and thanks
xx Sam
